This is a Laserfiche Forms process for Medical Examiners to gather information in the field including scene, incident, responding agency, and decedent information. They can also enter other information, such as, the disposition of the body, addendum information, and law enforcement dispatch information, when necessary. Once the appropriate forms are submitted, there are several Laserfiche Workflows that use the information to properly store the documents in the Laserfiche Repository. When all case information has been submitted and verified by the Registrar, the case is then stored based on length of time that the record must be retained. All participants in this process need to have access to the Laserfiche Forms server and the Laserfiche Repository.
