Description
This process streamlines the experience for supervisors to provide status updates of their employees for each semester. The electronic form collects request information regarding funding (specific account list for different supervisor), compensation, termination and transfer. In addition, a new hire form is now created to ensure including all required information for hiring requests such as offer letters of graduate assistantship. In the past, the information was collected via spreadsheet. This process went live back in July 2020 with only a few departments participating in the process. Two years later, we now have 17 departments utilizing this process. There are more than 3500 requests submitted in the past 2 years and most of these requests have funding information for several employees. Automating this process has brought in cost savings of $405,000 to-date for the department.
