This solution enables an organization to efficiently administer a rewards program – e.g. a Customer Champions initiative – in which users can earn points for performing specified activities and then later redeem their accumulated points for prizes. The solution comprises two processes: (1) The Point Submission process allows users to report their point-earning activities and upload proof of completion. The points and other relevant data about the user’s engagement are recorded in a lookup table. (2) The Point Redemption process allows users to exchange their points for rewards of their choice, and then routes the request for shipping and updates the point totals and shipping data in lookup tables accordingly. Both processes make use of multiple process automation components to leverage existing program data, present users with relevant choices and constraints, minimize administrative intervention and maintain up-to-date records with valuable business information.
