Once an employee termination notification is submitted, it is routed to the human resources (HR) representative for approval. The HR representative approves the notification and schedules a pre-termination meeting (if the employee was employed under a Just Cause Agreement). The manager and HR representative take notes during the meeting and based on those notes, the manager decides whether or not to terminate the employee.
