Once an employee submits a request to check out a hardware device, such as a laptop or camera, the form is sent to the department manager for approval. Once approved, IT is notified to check if the device is available for checkout. If available, IT issues the device to the employee. The employee is notified one business day before the device is due to either return the device or ask for an extension. Once the employee marks the device as returned, IT verifies this and the forms are saved in the repository.
