Once a citizen submits a request for public records, the request is sent to the clerk who decides if it is a new request or has been fulfilled before. If this is a new request, a new folder is automatically generated and the clerk specifies the department that should fulfill the request. The department member will then gather the appropriate records into the newly created folder. When finished, the clerk is notified to make sure that all of the documents are appropriately redacted. Once redacted, the clerk either mails the records or holds them for pick up. If the requester specified delivery of the records by email, the records are automatically made available via the WebLink public portal and the requester is emailed a link.

All fulfilled requests are saved in Business Process Library\Public Records Requests\Requests Received\[Date submitted].
